Albert Bertilsson,
a Swedish computer scientist, programmer and consultant/architect on the Microsoft .NET framework. Albert is author of the chess engines #Chess, written entierly in C#, and Sharper written in C++. In December 2003, Albert started a distributed project [2] to calculate perft(11) of the initial position, taking over a week to calculate [3].
