Robert Prinsen,
a British programmer, who while affiliated with InterScan Data Systems, Hounslow, in the 70s [1], developed the early chess program A16chs in only seven months [2]. Competing at the First World Computer Chess Championship, 1974 in Stockholm, A16chs ran on an Alpha16 minicomputer [3].
