Mark Hummel,
an Australian software developer, entrepreneur, investor, co-author of the stock market trading program Merchant of Venice

with interests in chess programming, and artificial intelligence in general. He holds a B.Sc. in computer science from the Australian National University in 2000 [4],
and is author of the chess engine HexxPawn, which played various Australasian National Computer Chess Championships,
and was also an early entry in the ANU Carbon-Silicon Tournaments before 1998 [5].
